Starting from this month we will be sending out regular updates via email eshot system to update you on updates we have made to our firmware (software) used on our smart actuators. All of our Smart actuators have onboard firmware that we call our SmartMenu. The user can access the SmartMenu using a number of passwords that will allow you to access different menus. You will access a number of changeable parameters to change the functionality, responsiviness, working angle and speed among many other options. 

From time to time we must make changes to the firmware, to remove bugs found out in the field, new features that we design etc. Currently we are not able to allow our customers to retrospectively upgrade/update the firmware on site, this is however something we are working on. For now, we will update firmware when we produce a new batch of actuators and apply the new firmware. This wil mean there will be a cross over of finished stock held in the UK and in your locations, of different firmware versions. This has always been the case. 

The new e-shot will however, for the first time, make you aware of the confirmed changes, and allow you to easily access the latest versions via our PDF User Guides. These are printable PDF guides that have screen by screen guides showing all available parameters and options. We will also show in the same location, the Archived versions.
